Catwalk.

                                  Shoes - Catwalk ; Top - flea market ; Leggings - Zara ; Trench Coat - Mother's Wardrobe
                                    Accessories - Globus

I have a never ending love affair with anything black and gold. From a long time I was longing for a nice pair of heels and when I came across this pair of black and gold slightly wedged heels on Catwalk, I instantly knew they were making their way to the blog soon.

I’m not a girl who goes easy with high heels. I prefer medium heels because of only sole reason that it will weaken my knees. Yes I’m quite a peculiar when it comes to body comfort zone. So this pair of heels just worked for me. Apart from the colour, I was quite impressed with the quality of the product. The finish was clean and they were so comfy. The comfort zone goes a long way when it comes to heels and these heels just stand out. I could wear them all day. Obviously you don’t need any introduction to this brand. Catwalk is a Mumbai based Indian Brand. I got these from the Lifestyle Stores.

Coming down to the look, my first feeling with these heels was to style them for the night, but I decided to create a look suitable enough for the day as well. I wanted to break the monotony of wearing gold only at night. I paired it up with a matte sequined top and Zara Leggings. I also opted for a fuchsia pink trench coat and some minimal accessories to complete the look.
See you soon with another exciting post!

Flea Market Obsession.

Sweater - Sarojini ; Denim- Forever21 ; Bag- Connaught Place ; Shoes- Nainital ; Lipcolour- Maybelline

My effort to be active on the blog results in some unplanned post but a good one though. I’m saying this because today’s post wasn’t really supposed to make it to the blog. At first I thought that I would share the pictures on Instagram but I changed my mind later on as the shoot went really nice and also I was in a mood to blog today.

Last year when I started my blog I came up with my first post on flea market haul. Flea markets are very conventional not only because it’s cheap when you want to go a little easy with your pocket but also you get a variety of options to select from. You can constantly play with colours, prints and style almost daily. College going girls really find flea marketing a savior when it comes to casual clothing.
I still remember when my friends visited Delhi, two of my friends ended up in a bagful of clothes from Sarojini Market. Well who doesn’t love Sarojini Nagar?  But I like to explore every flea market around the corner. I keep on collecting a huge sack of casual clothes for one time use or may be twice. Even casual clothing can warm up your look when the never ending dilemma of “having nothing to wear” gets in the way. You just need to be confident and feel comfort with the art of styling.

Today’s post features some of the street collectibles that I have owned in the recent times. I kept the look very simple and played with dull as well as bright colours. So when laziness crawls up you can opt for this look or you can create your own look. I got these shoes from Nainital last year. The shop was in the middle of the local market and dealt with handcrafted goods. These burnt leather shoes stole my attention. There were also a variety of leather kolhapuris, ankle length boots, slip-ons. Though I got a couple of other things but these shoes are my best bargain. The oatmeal coloured sweater is from Sarojini and carried the blue tiger print bag to highlight the look. I’ve shared the pictures of this look below. Have a look!
Xoxo!

My heart is screaming it’s the New Year. And with New Year comes the new determination. Another year has flown by so quickly. I have been masked for the past two months, laying down on my job. Winters do make me a couch potato sometimes. But I have to get rid of this procrastinating mode. Trust me I’ve been looking forward to sitting down and writing this blog post.
I love winters. The smell of caffeine, donning warmer clothes, afternoon walks, winter sun and breeze which make you pulls your winter coat a little closer. Though this year the winter was not that cold in Delhi. But it’s not over yet. Every winter I am obsessed  with one specific style that rules my wardrobe the most along with others.Drapes are my staple this winter. I kind of find them quite warm, easy to wear and carry. I have gone plethoric with my drapes collection and surely they are going to make their way to the blog or Instagram.
Today’s rust coloured drape is my current favourite, a collectible from Shimla. Needless to say the sleeves just caught my attention. This drape adds a style statement to your basic outfit. Also the drape doesn’t restrict your hand movements (told you easy to carry). It’s the perfect outfit for me as I’m quite a fidgety in nature. So you can now ditch the sweaters for a month now and shop for the drapes instead. I would recommend you to try something different to beat the cold wind ‘tis season. The warmth of this drape has actually suggested me to go for the basic look with a black camisole even in the winter, high waist denim and a brown bag.
For those who are wondering, you can shop from any online store of your choice and also from brands like Zara, h&m.
Wish you all a great year ahead and a lovely weekend of course.

Lots of love.
