Mango, the king of fruits is not only scrumptious in taste
but also a great beneficial for skin and hair. As the mango season is here, my beauty
meddling with the fruit started. I have tried homemade mango face masks earlier
and trust me it has totally worked for my skin. I have decided to share some of
the helpful mango beauty hacks with you. Yeah it will need a bit time and
patience to prepare the masks, apply and wait but the after results are superb.
Saturdays and Sundays can be the best days for pampering yourself!
#Hack 1
Treats Blackheads: Prepare a scrub by mixing a teaspoon of
mango pulp, half a teaspoon of milk powder/milk and honey. Rub it all over your
face in circular motion. It removes dead skin & blackheads and also add
glow to your face.
#Hack 2
Natural Moisturizer: Take some mango pulp and apply directly
on your skin. Wait for 10-15 mins and wash off with cold water. It smooths your
skin and act as a natural moisturizer.
#Hack 3
Anti-tan Removal: For this you need-
·
Skin of mango (raw or ripe)
·
1 teaspoon milk/milk cream
Apply some milk/milk cream on the skin of the mango and rub
your face with it. Wash it off with cold water after 10-15 mins. Doing this
twice a week will reduce tanning drastically.
OR
Add lemon juice to a paste of mango pulp, almond powder,
gram flour and yogurt. Apply this paste on face and neck and massage in
circular motion. Leave it for 20 mins and wash it off with cold water. Repeat
this twice a week for best results.
#Hack 4
A Great Conditioner: This is a hair mask which works well
for frizzy and unmanageable hair. What
more, it is chemical free! Once a week hair pampering is needed. All you need
is:
·
2 tablespoon of Mango Pulp
·
1 tablespoon of yogurt
·
2 egg yolk.
Mix them properly and apply on your strands, especially at
the ends. Leave it for 45 mins and wash it off with your regular shampoo. Your
hair is soft, manageable and well-conditioned.
So these were some of the beauty benefits of mango. Do try
them out once or twice a week for better results and let me know about your
experience. I would love to know that!
